Hi, I'm Kaylin Tudor
Owner & Founder of Kaylin Cakes
Everyone who knows me knows I've always loved to bake. Some of my earliest memories are in the kitchen with my mom, making banana bread, peach crumble, and Christmas cookies. While other kids were playing sports or video games, my friends and I spent Friday nights seeing how tall of a cake we could bake — purely for fun.
That love for baking only grew with time, but it truly flourished after college. While working long, demanding hours in public accounting, baking became my creative outlet on nights and weekends. I brought my family-famous banana bread to coworkers, experimented with cannoli cupcakes and blueberry lemon scones, and quickly became the go-to cake maker for friends' birthdays — always testing and refining new recipes along the way.
The Aha Moment
After a few years, it felt natural to wonder whether baking could become more than a hobby. But the real "aha" moment came in 2025. A close friend of mine — who manages multiple allergies to gluten, corn, and potatoes — gently declined my offer to bake her a birthday cake, saying, "Don't worry about it. It's the thought that counts." That response only motivated me more.
I created a gluten-free Chantilly cake just for her birthday, and it was enjoyed by everyone at the table — not just those with dietary restrictions.
From there, I began intentionally baking gluten-free, corn-free, and potato-free treats for all of my gatherings so she would never feel left out of celebrating.

That experience became the heart of Kaylin Cakes, LLC — a cottage, home-style bakery dedicated to making thoughtful, homemade, and allergen-friendly baked goods for life's celebrations. Every order is made to order, with care, intention, and a belief that everyone deserves a beautiful dessert they can truly enjoy.
